As experienced spatial planners, projects often start with a consultation with the architect. For this stunning home in the Ribble Valley, our clients instantly saw the benefits of bringing us onboard at the early planning stages of their full home refurbishment.

As clients who love their garden, bringing the outside in and creating plenty of natural light was key. Our suggestion to take the windows to full height and introduce additional skylights was bold, but the results speak for themselves. By specifying white metal window frames and simple white roller blinds, the lush greens of the gardens take centre stage.

Our neutral interior scheme is brought alive by the careful layering of textures, tones and shapes. A sumptuous leather armchair sits beside a classic wool tweed sofa, bringing contrast and interest. The soft stone tiles with under floor heating set off the luxury of the mirrored columns and occasional tables.

On warm summer days, this whole space comes alive with light, providing a cool, calm and airy retreat.
